THE JOB: The Associate Account Manager is responsible for assisting in the drive of business growth through new account acquisition and the maintenance of existing accounts, with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction within an assigned territory. This is a field-based position, primarily operating within our top sales states, where on-the-ground presence is crucial for success. The Associate Account Manager is responsible for territory forecasting based on product interest and consistent goal attainment, continuous pipeline generation, actively soliciting and securing orders from both potential and existing customers, and exceeding sales expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to identify opportunities for sales orders and meeting customer needs
- Secures orders from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer facility or contacting by phone and email
- Conducts a high volume of daily outbound calls, consistently logging all interactions in the CRM system
- Responds timely to follow-up requests for information, leads generated through conferences and inbound calls, and qualifies each sales prospect
- Responds promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing detailed information on product features, benefits, pricing, purchasing options, exchanges, and technical support, as well as addressing any additional questions
- Manages the entire sales process under the guidance of the National Sales Manager and the Territory Account Manager, ensuring all activities are accurately documented in the CRM system
- Maintains post-sale contact with clients to facilitate a positive and productive long-term relationship
- Creates and maintains an ongoing business relationship with current industry clients to facilitate current and future sales
- Builds and maintains strong customer relationships by addressing account issues, resolving concerns, and responding to needs
- Travels to customer sites for meetings, product demonstrations, and trade shows approximately 25-35% of the time
- Maintains accurate and timely records in the company CRM system, ensuring data integrity and up-to-date customer information
- Participates in sales meetings and training sessions as assigned to stay informed on products, processes, and best practices
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of two years’ successful sales experience
- Strong customer service experience
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, show proof of auto insurance, and have reliable transportation
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of relevant work experience as a field sales representative
- Experience in Career and Technical Education sales
WORK LOCATION: Realityworks, Inc. is located in Eau Claire, WI. This is a fully remote position, working from a home office in the Florida territory.
TRAVEL: 25-35% travel throughout a multi-state territory to attend tradeshows and meet with customers is required. Travel is typically by car and/or air.
