We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Management Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the effective management of residential properties and providing exceptional service to tenants. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Coordinate lease agreements, renewals, and terminations while maintaining accurate records within property management software.
- Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Facilitate communication between tenants and maintenance staff to ensure efficient resolution of issues.
- Implement customer relationship management strategies to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Assist with Section 8 housing programs and ensure adherence to regulations as applicable.
- Utilize our software platforms for tracking tenant information, payments, and property performance metrics.
- Provide support in conflict management situations, working towards amicable resolutions for all parties involved.
- Maintain knowledge of legal administrative processes related to property management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with laws governing real estate, including Section 8 and regulations.
- Strong skills in facilities management and conflict resolution.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for effective communication with tenants and vendors.
- Proficiency in property management software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A background in legal administrative functions is beneficial but not required.
- Must have a Real Estate License.
