Showroom Sales Associate:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Meet with Interior Designers in the showroom and at their offices, to discuss projects and provide sales materials, product options and pricing of our preferred vendors.
• Maintain a data base of Interior Design professionals throughout all territories and identify which preferred vendors are being purchased.
• Introduce all preferred vendors and their products to these Interior Design professionals
• Provide retail customers with product knowledge of our preferred vendors and answer questions regarding pricing, delivery details, or repair services.
• Provide quotes, invoices & sales orders for retail & trade accounts.
• Identify retail customers as potential design service clients and introduce them to Design Services Team.
• Assist in coordinating deliveries of furniture to customer homes or businesses.
• Design & maintain room setups in the store to help potential buyers envision how items will look in their own home.
• Maintain a clean and informative showroom
  • Keep track of inventory levels of all vendors and maintain product displays.
  • Ensure tags are correct and properly displayed
  • Ensure sales materials and tools are up to date and in their proper area.
• Communicate internally important feedback from customers

  Qualifications:

• Proven work experience with QuickBooks.
• High organizational skills and ability to manage several projects at the same time.
• Hands on experience with MS Office (MS Excel & Teams in particular).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• A team player with high level of dedication.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize own workload.
• Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
