Overview
Sell and manage HVAC service contracts and retrofit projects.
Responsibilities
- Estimating and budgeting
- Written proposals
- Marketing/sales
- Customer development and retention
- Planning and scheduling
- Cost control
- Ensuring quality and performance
- Timely invoicing of all work completed to date and conscientious follow-up on collection of money due to ensure positive cash flow
- Supervision of field crews
- Safety awareness, training, promotion
- Warranty administration
- Design coordination
Requirements
- 1 year of account management Experience.
- 1 year of experience in the plumbing, controls, or HVAC / Refrigeration industry.
- Must have PC experience in Windows environments including a working knowledge of spreadsheets, e-mail, and Web-enabled applications
- High school diploma or GED
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent
- Co-op or intern experience in this field

- Work requires local and occasional out-of-town travel to job sites and customer locations.
- Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and scaffolds and to negotiate work areas under construction.
