Roles & Responsibilities
- Provides advanced level oversight for the definition and deployment of security requirements and blueprint preparation, testing, and implementation of the system software and hardware required for technology models of complex projects.
- Identifies, determines, and defines business requirements to meet technology security needs in providing a secured, robust, reliable, and efficient infrastructure for City departments; provides lead level engineering expertise in the development of IT solutions.
- Designs, selects, tests, assembles, and standardizes the technology security model for use across the IT landscape; communicates with business partners, departments, and management to ensure IT solutions meet IT needs.
- Implements and migrates technology security models across the organization; supports IT specialists in various departments to mitigate loss of service during transition or update periods.
- Performs business modeling and systems engineering; works collaboratively with other professionals to build IT models that address issues, solve problems, and increase productivity.
- Provides communication and education to information systems personnel on the technology model.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
- Typically has 10 or more years of relevant technical or business work experience.
