What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Manager - Cath Lab and Special Procedures position at Redlands Community Hospital?
The manager is responsible for the daily operational activities of the Cath Lab and Special Procedures areas. Operational responsibilities include: facilitating a smooth workflow and effective communication processes among caregivers, assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating all aspects of care/services delivered; ensuring quality programs, patient safety and a level of customer service that strives to exceed internal and external customer expectations; developing strong relationships with primary customers and ensures the delivery of timely and efficient services; effectively assists the cardiologist, surgeons, proceduralists, and interventional radiologists in all appropriate non-invasive/invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures in Cath Lab and Special Procedures areas.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing, Healthcare administration, or related field required.
- Masters degree in nursing or related field, preferred.
- At least three (3) years experience as clinical staff in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology (IR), Intensive Care Unit, or PACU required.
- RN with at least three (3) years progressive management experience required preferably in cath lab, Intensive Care Unit, or PACU.
- Ability to instruct, supervise and evaluate the work performance of others.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
- Registered Nurse with current, unencumbered California RN license
- Current ACLS, BLS certification required; PALS within 90 days of hire.
