What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Field Accountant - Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living position at Regency Pacific?
Must have Business Office Manager - Skilled Nursing Experience!
Providing support and oversight for 8-9 Oregon SNF and ALF Communities.
The Field Accountant provides support and direction to assigned facility/community Business Offices to include accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, trust, payroll, human resources, training, and vacancy coverage. The Field Accountant also promotes the Company’s core values of respect, integrity, commitment and trust.
You will:
- Implements established systems to monitor accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, trust, human resources, and payroll procedures (Paycom, PCC, etc)
- Assists/oversees collections at facility/community level for all payors which may include auditing and researching of accounts.
- Provides monthly reports on private pay accounts to the facility/community Administrator/Executive Director, Business Office Manager, RVP, Lead Field Accountant, Director of Billing, and CFO
- Monitors accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, trust, human resources, and payroll at the facility/community level, through auditing. Provides follow up training.
- Audits accounting records for accuracy, organization, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provides vacancy coverage at the facility/community level when the Business Office Manager position is vacant, completing facility/community level Business Office tasks.
You currently:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Office Manager in a Healthcare setting of which two or more year’s are Nursing Home Business Office experience and one year or more is Assisted Living Business Office experience
- Computer data entry experience
- Microsoft Excel knowledge and experience
- Have a current driver’s license
- Ability to travel 90% of the time and work in facilities during core business hours when traveling from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Ability to provide support via phone/email during the business hours of the Business Offices in facilities/communities assigned and during business hours of the Corporate office
- Experience with accounting and payroll systems. (Prior experience in PCC and/or Paycom a plus)
- Prior experience in development and training a plus
