Assistant Preschool Teacher

Reggio’s Treehouse is looking for experienced and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educators. Are you an “outside the box” thinker? As an Assistant Educator you will create adventures daily for our students, by working closely with the Lead Educator, Director and our Curriculum Team.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Create a safe and nurturing learning environment
• Assist the Lead Educator in creating lesson plans in line with the Reggio Philosophy
• Communicate effectively with the children and their families
• Share your love of learning with the children
• Assists in other capacities that the Lead Educator, Director or designee may deem necessary

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in ECE or related field or Completed CDA or willing to obtain
• The ability to meet state, federal, and accreditation requirements for education and experience
• At least 1 year of experience working in a Licensed Childcare Facility
• Experience working in a Reggio Emilia inspired school is preferred
• Highly Professional and Dependable
• Flexibility to work the hours and schedule to meet the needs of the school
• Any additional information requested by the Lead Educator, Director or designee that may deem necessary
