What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Entry Clerk position at Regional Warehouse and Logistics?
The primary responsibilities of the Shipping Coordinator (Distribution) will be to receive and log shipments into the inventory system, and to work with the project support team to distribute items as needed. They will have to prepare paperwork for distribution of items within the office and create shipping labels for both domestic and international shipments. They may have to use scanners, computers, and scales and is responsible for answering customer questions and fielding requests.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and log shipments into inventory database
- Partner with project support team to coordinate distribution requests
- Retrieve items from inventory to prepare distributions
- Prepare and print paperwork corresponding to distribution needs
- Answer customer questions and field requests as necessary
- Able to navigate our online inventory & shipping systems
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0-1 years' experience in shipping operations
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft office tools
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics
- Independent worker
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Smartsheet data entry experience
- SharePoint knowledge is a plus
