The Senior Business Architect works with Global Valuation in designing and implementing end-to-end operating model delivering value aligned with corporate strategies, collaborates cross-functionally including Valuation, Operations, Finance, IT, and Admin, to define standards and to enable advancement and integration of RGA processes and systems, ensures data integrity and processes within the Valuation platform and with areas outside Valuation, and minimizes disruptions to the actuarial reporting process.

$84,860.00 - $128,110.00 Annual
Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. What You Will Do
- Implement change initiatives
- Deliver enhanced business values
- Engage with project managers, business analysts, users, designers and developers to further understand the system and resolve system gaps.
- Partner with Valuation Associates globally to support the adoption of enhanced business processes, system capabilities, and providing business support.
- Develop advanced understanding of RGA’s Valuation processes, data, and systems within and outside Valuation and ensure end-to-end integration.
- Partnering with Quality Assurance team to develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Actively lead cross-functional efforts and provide feedback.
- Engage IT resources to meet business requirements and implement technical solutions.
- Provides guidance and assistance to Business Architects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent related work experience required
- 5 Years IT-related experience, such as Business Analysis, Quality Assurance
- Advanced SQL skills and intermediate Excel, Word.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills demonstrating ability to share and impart domain knowledge and complex information.
- Advanced ability to collaborate and liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines.
- Advanced level of skills in customer relationship management, change management, negotiating and persuasion skills.
- Advanced level of investigative, analytical, and problem solving skills, advanced ability to translate business needs and problems into implementable specifications and support the implementation of technical and business solutions, advanced ability to recognize and articulate process improvement opportunities and capability gaps.
- Advanced ability to set goals and manage multiple assigned tasks, clients, and projects simultaneously, ability to appropriately balance priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Advanced data analysis skills, ability to quickly adapt to new methods, to work under tight deadlines, and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well within a team environment, participate in team projects, ability to resolve conflict and foster teamwork.
- Hands-on knowledge of program management and software development lifecycle and methodologies.
- Agile framework experience, and knowledge of change management.
