Assistant Head of Admissions
The Assistant Head of Admissions will assist the Head of Admissions in all areas, with an emphasis on prospective parent communication and interaction. The Assistant Head of Admissions will lead tours, be a primary contact for prospective parents through the admissions process, and contribute to admissions-focused marketing and communication efforts.
Reports To: Head of Admissions
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Schedule: 52 weeks

Requirements*:
- Christian by profession and lifestyle.
- Received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and be a member in good standing of a local Church.
- Demonstrate spiritual and organizational leadership.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a related field.
- Pleasant and professional presentation of self.
- Must be able to communicate with constituents with excellence in both written and oral communication.
- Must have a contagious passion about Rejoice Christian School and its mission.
- Ability to think and act strategically.
- Knowledge of G Suite programs and Microsoft products.
- Must maintain knowledge of school software platforms, social media platforms, and learning management systems.
- Intimate knowledge and experience working with schools.
- This is a safety-sensitive position, and employees may be required to undergo drug or alcohol testing.

Essential Functions:
Serve as a primary contact for prospective parents- -tours, written communication, phone calls, etc. Assist prospective parents through the entire admissions process
- -being proactively helpful, clearly and empathetically communicating, and sharing the mission of RCS with excellence. Communicate effectively on all aspects of Admissions
- -timelines, financial aid, tax credits, processes, etc. Assist the Head of Admissions in all aspects of the Admissions. department
- -creating and maintaining online admissions portals, planning events, working with Head of Marketing, etc.
- Assist the Head of Admissions in all aspects of student/family retention.
- Work with the Admissions Assistant in organizing screening and interview data and/or paperwork for the administration staff (e.g., having folders ready for screenings, having schedules ready for interview days, etc.).
- Work with the Admissions Assistant to maintain student data specific to admissionsbirth certificates, immunization records, educational records, etc.
- Work with the Admissions Assistant to maintain student data specific to enrolled studentstesting, academic records, etc.
- Assist the Head of Admissions with other duties as needed.
