Service Director- Administration - $33.08/Hr

FT 40 Hr/wk To oversee, lead and coordinate Agency clinical mental health services (Clinical team) along with Agency Intake, Community Support Program, Teamworks, Transportation and Supported Education. Ensure designated programs are operating within fiscally sound contracted budgets and providing quality services. Ensure compliance with Agency standards including but not limited to; quality assurance documentation standards, required % of services provided, personnel policies and corporate compliance. Participate in designated Agency meetings and with external providers as required to coordinate and enhance services, treatment plans and referrals. Ensure programs are operating within required staffing assignments. Provide critical incident reporting as needed.

Duties and Responsibilites:
- Ensure that evaluations and supervisions are up to date and evident in personnel files on direct reporting staff & that Supervisors in service area are also up to date with evaluations of their direct reporting staff
- Function, as required in the absence of the Program Supervisors
- Implement policies, procedures, and program evaluation for designated programs in coordination with Program Supervisors and ensure compliance
- Ensure that program data is reported accurately and timely
- Run reports as necessary to ensure documentation standards are being met.
- Create goals with Directors in areas needing improvement.
- Provide direction, assistance, and approval for major crisis intervention
- Monitor Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement for service areas
- Participate in network committees & Community Committees as needed
- Assist in grant writing and secure funds for new and existing services in conjunction with Chief Operating Officer and Finance Director
- Assure effective coordination between Service Area and other services, both external and internal
- Engage in continuous concerted efforts to access, obtain, respond to pertinent agency information/communications and disseminate as appropriate
- Provide working conditions and education that maximizes safety for staff and program participants
- Other responsibilities of Reliance Health staff, such as participation in Agency events, adhering to Agency policies and procedures, training requirements etc.
- Ensure program safety measures are met on a regular basis
- Provide regular supervision that is documented and evidenced in Personnel files by submitting to HR at the time of supervision. Supervision is acknowledged by the signature of employee and on the Agency form that includes but is not limited to: providing honest and fair feedback about performance, discussing employee goals & growth, appreciation and program communication.
- Approve employee timesheets accurately prior to 9am on Monday payroll weeks and when appropriate, approve and fax per diem timesheets prior to 9am Monday payroll weeks.
- Perform duties while demonstrating Agency Core Competencies and values
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in human services or related field required
- Five years prior experience in the provision of mental health and supervisory experience required
- Valid CT Driver’s License, vehicle registration and insurance required
