Summary: As a Finished Goods Technician at our Greencastle PA facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped in a timely manner. You will work as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment to meet and exceed our customers' expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Picking Orders: Use handheld devices and picking carts to locate and pick items from designated storage locations within the warehouse.
- Packing Orders: Package items according to REMarket’s packaging guidelines to ensure safe and secure delivery to customers.
- Shipping Orders: Prepare shipping labels, affix them to packages, and coordinate with shipping carriers for timely pickup and delivery.
- Quality Control: Inspect picked and packed items for accuracy, quality, and proper packaging to maintain high standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by updating systems and conducting periodic stock checks.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper handling of equipment, materials, and hazardous substances. Follow company policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to achieve daily production goals and meet customer demands.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives by providing feedback, suggesting ideas for efficiency, and implementing best practices.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking, packing, and shipping orders.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld devices or scanners.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Prior experience with/in a WMS is preferred.
