General Warehouse Associate

Summary: As a General Labor Technician at our Greencastle PA facility, you will be an essential part of our warehouse operations team. Your primary responsibility will be to perform various tasks to support the smooth functioning of the facility.

Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Support: Assist in various warehouse activities, including but not limited to loading and unloading trucks, moving merchandise within the facility, and organizing storage areas.
2. Material Handling: Use equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, and carts to transport goods safely and efficiently.
3. Inventory Management: Help with inventory counting, stock replenishment, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
4. Facility Maintenance: Participate in general maintenance tasks, such as cleaning work areas, disposing of waste materials, and ensuring a tidy and organized warehouse environment.
5. Assembly and Packaging: Assist in assembly tasks and packaging products as needed, following company guidelines and quality standards.
6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for handling equipment, materials, and hazardous substances. Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
7. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to meet production goals and ensure smooth workflow.
8. Flexibility: Be willing to perform a variety of tasks and adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred but not required.
2. Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
3. Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
4. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
5. Willingness to learn and perform a variety of tasks as assigned.
6. Physical stamina and flexibility to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
7. Basic computer skills required.
8. Prior experience with/in a WMS is preferred.
