Reporting to the EVP of Sales, the Vice President of Sales serves as the Sales Discipline Leader within the Commercial Strategy Team, collaborating with leadership to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and optimize wholesale distribution across Remington's portfolio. This role is essential in supporting Remington's expansion within CALA (Caribbean and Latin America), where there are currently 4 open hotels and additional properties in the pipeline. The VP of Sales will lead strategies across Group, Business Travel, Contract, and Catering segments to enhance sales and marketing efforts, grow wholesale distribution, and support third-party management by promoting Remington's capabilities to prospective ownership clients.
This role requires a strategic leader adept in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry, with a focus on maximizing revenue and expanding Remington's footprint in CALA.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Strategy Execution : Oversee and guide Divisional VPs of Sales in developing and executing strategies for portfolio-wide and individual hotel revenue goals, particularly in the growing CALA region.
- Performance Metrics & Reporting : Define key metrics to meet revenue and NOI targets and deliver performance reports to ownership groups to ensure accountability and transparency.
- Team Leadership & Development : Recruit, train, and retain top sales talent while managing bonus plans and maintaining a high-performance culture.
- Industry & Client Engagement : Represent Remington on advisory boards, panels, and industry events, and engage in all phases of the sales funnel to strengthen client relationships.
- Business Development Collaboration : Support the Business Development team in RFPs, pitch meetings, and promoting Remington's unique capabilities to prospective owners.
- Vendor & Corporate Sales Management : Oversee vendor partnerships to enhance ROI and supervise corporate sales associates in their support roles for field teams.
