Overall Requirements : 

The Dallas Quality Department is looking for an experienced Quality Control Technician to enable the Operations team to deliver quality service to our customers and maintain our quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates with Operations to provide guidance with respect to product quality issues 
• Align with the Engineering Department to provide quality input with respect to NPI initiatives 
• Performs spot inspections on various electronic systems
• Responsible for monitoring incoming, inline and pre-ship quality results
• Coordinates calibration and ESD compliance program
• Makes recommendations to improve and develop Quality System processes 
• Helps determine relevant quality associated training requirements
• Assist with provision of Quality metrics against defined parameters
• Activation and tracking of product non-conformities, 8D’s, corrective actions and internal audit finding outcomes on the company Quality system
• Work with Quality Team to complete annual quality internal and external audit process
• Participate in annual Management Review and external audit process

Experience & Skills:

• 5 years of experience as a quality control in a manufacturing organization 
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings utilizing GD&T 
• Experience in ISO 9001 environment 
• High attention to detail 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong planning skills and ability to independently manage multiple work activities in order to meet established deadlines and priorities.
• Self-starter and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team 
• Working knowledge of MS Office Excel and Word

Bonus if you have the following experience

• Internal ISO Auditor Qualification and/or Certification
• Experienced with IPC610/IPC 620
• Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen Training considered is an asset 
• ITAR clearance
