What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Based Mental Health Therapist position at Renaissance Wellness Services, LLC?
Job Definition:Licensed or provisionally licensed (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) therapist needed for part time/full time outpatient therapy position working with children and adolescents in a school and community setting for Chapel Hill/Carrboro, Orange County, and/or Chatham County Schools.
Services include, but are not limited to, the following services:
- Individual counseling and support to occur mainly during school hours.
- Group counseling and support to occur mainly during school hours
- Family counseling, training or support, to occur before or after school hours
- Initial intake and Comprehensive Clinical Assessment
- Case management and care coordination required to include: monthly CFT meetings, attendance at school-based MH meetings, and regular communication with school personnel, teachers, and school counselors, other duties as assigned
- Community-based sessions depending on needs of families and clients served
- Electronic documentation submitted within 24 hours of services rendered
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in human service related field
- Provisional or full licensure as one of the following: LCMHCA, LCMHC, LCSWA, LCSW LMFT
- providing mental health services to children and adolescents
- Competency with individual, group, and family therapy
- Credentialed with Cardinal Innovations Healthcare and Blue Cross Blue Shield
- In NCTRACK
- Professional Liability Insurance
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Familiarity with working with children and adolescents
- Location: This position is primarily school and community-based, and clinicians will be assigned to schools within Chatham or Orange County
- Must consent to a criminal background check
