ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is a large manufacturing company based in the Peninsula, currently seeking a temporary General Ledger Accountant to assist with the account reconciliation and GL maintenance efforts of the company. This is a fully on-site opportunity with an hourly pay rate between $30-$32 / hour, depending upon relevant experience.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Perform reconciliations of cash, prepaid and fixed asset accounts to assist with month-end close processes
- Accurately maintain the general ledger records
- Monitor ad-hoc banking transactions and balances as needed
- Prepare accruals and adjustments, as well as journal entries to support month-end close
- Support the financial statement preparation process
- Provide support for internal and external audits
- Other duties as needed
