What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Manager position at RenuKrete?
RenuKrete is currently hiring a full-time Operations Manager position as follows. This role is very hands-on. While the Operations Manager will manage a small team of associates, this role includes a significant portion of hands-on work, including re-packaging of products and materials, organizing the warehouse etc. This is not exclusively an office job.
- Warehouse Organization: Lead the organization of the warehouse, receive incoming and ship outgoing shipments
- Packaging: Lead the re-packaging of materials and products
- Light assembly: Oversee and perform light assembly of various products prior to shipping
- Communication: Communicating with customers, vendors and other departments
- Processes: Developing and improving warehouse procedures
- Inventory: Receiving, recording, storing, and replenishing inventory
- Shipping and receiving: Overseeing the procedures for shipments, including delivery and pick up
- Staff: Assigning work, providing training, and evaluating performance
- Safety: Ensuring safety procedures are followed, and that the warehouse is set up safely
The successful candidate will have strong computer, communication, multitasking and delegation skills, as well as be able to prioritize tasks. They should also be familiar with OSHA safety regulations, have experience driving a fork lift.
