POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
The ACH Specialist, with little to no direct supervision, is responsible for handling and processing all issues and tasks within ACH, IRA/HSA, and transaction processing. This position is for the highly experienced with multiple years of experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3 years of deposit operations experience required.
• Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification preferred.
• Demonstrated proficient computer skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Process ACH research for client inquires, Federal Reserve discrepancies, and General Ledger outages.
• Set-up ACH clients, process & balance ACH files, and resolve ACH processing issues.
• Resolve IRA/HSA account issues, ensure accurate tax reporting and perform account maintenance.
• Review periodic reports on IRA/HSA and ACH activities.
• Resolve unposted transactions and process ACH and Check exceptions/returns.
• Maintain and develop knowledge specific to NACHA, ACH, and Reg E Regulations.
• Effectively use bank resources, procedure manuals and reference materials to independently service client inquiries when necessary and protect client information by following department & security guidelines and procedures.
• Deliver superior customer service via telephone and email to internal and external clients for operational assistance.
• Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required.
