POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
The Quality Control Analyst is responsible for conducting Quality Control reviews on specific functions within the Loan Servicing Department. This position is also responsible for determining whether the assigned Department is performing their individual jobs within compliance and regulatory standards as well as following all bank policies and procedures.

- Minimum of 2 years loan operations experience required.
- Minimum of 1 year of Real Estate, Consumer, Commercial workflow, and loan documentation experience required.
- Minimum of 1 year Quality Control experience or equivalent preferred.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Retail, Mortgage and Commercial Banking as well as Compliance regulatory guidelines that pertain to Loan Servicing required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and multiple software applications.
- Perform Quality Control audits for one or more of each department in the assigned department, including but not limited to Escrow, PMI, New Loans, Maintenance, Beneficial Ownership Form review. The audit must be performed in a professional manner and in accordance with Policy and Procedures for that specific department and Compliance Regulations.
- Assist in special audits that are needed and communicate the results to the Quality Control Officer.
- Obtain, analyze, and appraise evidentiary data as a basis for an informed, objective opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the loan system and efficiency of performance of the loans being reviewed.
- Review daily work reports and validate entries imported to the platform utilized by Quality Control or manually enter account information into this system for review.
- Make recommendations for correction of unsatisfactory conditions as well as improvements in operations and internal controls.
- Work with Loan Servicing team members to evaluate adherence to procedures.
- Work with the Quality Control Officer in a collaborative manner on any Compliance audits required.
- Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required.

- Effective communication (written and verbal) skills to adequately convey reports, findings, etc. related to job function.

- High energy level and strong sense of urgency; ability to work with situations on a “rush” notice.
- Strong attention to detail & organizational skills.
- Excellent ability to deal with client’s issues, questions and/or complaints.

- Travel between Republic Banking facilities may be required.
- Flexible work schedule that will include some evenings, weekends, and overtime.
