Position Summary :

As an Admissions RN at St. Elias Specialty Hospital, you will play a crucial role in managing patient admissions, coordinating care, and ensuring a smooth transition for patients entering our facility. This role requires a compassionate and detail-oriented nurse who is committed to delivering exceptional patient-focused care.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage patient admissions by conducting comprehensive assessments, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate patient transitions and optimize care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding the admission process and care expectations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to patient admissions.
• Document patient interactions, admission details, and care plans in the electronic medical record system.
• Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to the admission process, ensuring a positive patient experience.
