Summary of Position :
The Intern, Human Resources supports the Human Resources team with a variety of projects, gaining a wide range of experience and skills. This position is located in Washington DC.
We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources intern to join our Washington, DC, HR team this Summer for up to 35 hours per week, starting in May or June 2025 and continuing through the summer. The HR intern will provide support for our HR team by continuing an organization wide personnel file mapping and data organization project and other HR support duties as needed. The intern will also have the opportunity to train with and shadow each member of the HR staff and learn human resources policy and best practices from industry professionals. This position pays $ - $22 per hour.
This position will be in person, based out of our Washington, DC office only
Responsibilities :
- Assist with file organization and migration project : Collecting employee data and documents to compile into employee personnel digital files. Creating new employee digital file folders as needed.
- Training with HR team members on HR best practices, policies, and job functions.
- Occasional day-to-day HR support as needed : Engage in project work that supports department goals and initiatives, such as surveys, audits, and other research projects.
- Other duties as assigned.

Salary : $18 - $22
