Job Description
The Quality Assurance Associate at Retail Rebel is responsible for auditing incoming products based on functionality, value, and condition for various retail destinations. This role works with all warehouse departments assisting in sorting of goods and assisting with inventory control. We offer a one shift operations, Monday through Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm with occasional opportunities for overtime.
Job Duties:
- Audit incoming freight
- Collaborate with departments for retail site selection (venue selection)
- Assist sorting departments as needed
- Audit sorting lines
- Assist with inventory control
- Monitor and report on inventory integrity
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong attention to detail
- Broad knowledge of retail and commercial goods
- Prior salvage freight or retail returns experience
- Experience with inventory control.
- Previous warehouse experience
- Ability to operate a forklift is a plus but not required
Compensation: $15.75-$18.27
Requirements
Working Conditions:
- Standing/Walking 100% of the time
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Requirements:
- Operation of a pallet jack and other material handling equipment; not required, but will be expected to learn
- Understanding of general retail merchandise types and values
- Basic math and computer skills
- Detail-oriented
- Flexible and adaptable to change
