What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor Chemistry/Immunology position at Reubencooley INC?
The Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and directing all activities of the Chemistry and Immunology laboratories to achieve maximum quality of testing and compliance with all requirements by regulatory agencies. Performs other duties as assigned.
Assures the delivery of quality department /clinical services in accordance with established hospital and regulatory/accreditation agency standards.
Attends Management/Leadership meetings as scheduled/required and communicates hospital policies, performance improvement initiatives and all other required information to their staff.
Trains and assists Scientists with specialized tests; interprets results for physicians and advises on follow-up tests, as needed.
Education & Experience Requirements
ï‚ BS Degree in Clinical Technology or related science with six years of relevant hospital experience.
ï‚ MS Degree in Clinical Chemistry
ï‚ Preferred with ASCP or NCA Certification.
ï‚ Current NYS License or Licensure eligible required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
