Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Manager to oversee and expand our market presence in the Houston, Texas and Louisiana area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships with clients, driving sales initiatives, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for sales.
The position will include working home territory of Houston, TX, and travel two weeks per month to other territory areas of responsibility outside of Houston and LA State. The individual candidate we are seeking must have a minimum of 3-Years of experience in the Kitchen Cabinet Industry servicing and calling on custom cabinet shops, kitchen cabinet dealers, commercial display & store fixture companies and experienced in conducting sales calls on architects and designers specifying and designing residential cabinetry. The Territory Mgr. Sales Position also requires representing Rev-A-Shelf at National Trade Shows, Customer Product Training Program, and occasional Market Sales Blitzes outside assigned Home Territory. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and able to work with and support our distributor sales representative in marketing, promoting, and selling the Rev-A-Shelf & Tresco Lighting Brands of products to our customer base. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve territory goals.
- Identify and pursue lead generation opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales with both new and existing customers.
- Manage customer relationships through excellent customer service practices.
- Collaborate with the sales team to share insights and best practices.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using software tools.
Experience
- Proven experience in sales management or direct sales roles, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong background in inside and outside sales techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to lead generation efforts effectively.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals.
- Familiarity with software tools that support sales processes is preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
