Job Description: Electrical Supervisor – Mining Facility
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead electrical maintenance and construction projects at our mining facility. This role involves planning, developing, and managing the mine's electrical power distribution network and control circuits for equipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Electrical Activities: Oversee the work of employees engaged in electrical maintenance and construction projects, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Power Distribution Systems: Design, implement, and maintain a reliable and efficient electrical power distribution network for the mine site.
- Control Circuits: Develop and install control circuits for mining equipment to enhance performance and ensure safety.
- Project Management: Manage electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical activities align with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a strong culture of safety.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of electricians and electrical technicians, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience in an industrial setting, ideally within mining or heavy industry.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in electrical systems, power distribution, and control circuits; experience with underground mining electrical systems is a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing electrical teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve complex electrical issues effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.

Work Environment:
- Wear required PPE, including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, hard hats, and electrical safety equipment.
- Work in varying temperatures within production areas and outdoors year-round.
- Perform physical activities such as lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, crawling, bending, and squatting to access and repair equipment.
