Learning & Development Designer,Mauldin, Greenville
Responsibilities:
· Analyze, design and produce learning solutions using instructional design methodology such as ADDIE/SAM/Other.
· Produce instructor guides and participant materials for new courses (to include documentation and other resources).
· Identifying knowledge gaps through in-depth research, including consultations with stakeholders.
· Improve by analyzing and developing instructional solutions including process documentation, work instructions, classroom/virtual training, eLearning, job aids, gamification, and learning activities.
· Quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
· Lead training efforts and produce strategies to impact behavioral change, based on documented performance requirements or other metrics.
· Develop foundational and cumulative assessments.
· Implement evaluation strategies (4 levels: reaction, Learning, behavior, results) for all learning solutions, assemble statistics, and reports.
· Create project plans that include review checkpoints for content approval of training document/materials.
· Facilitate review meetings to determine needed changes to content.
Learning Designer Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree in instructional design, curriculum design, educational psychology, or similar.
· Three to five years’ direct demonstrable work experience as a Learning Designer, Instructional Designer, or Curriculum Developer with ADDIE model or other established instructional design models.
· Knowledge of current educational strategies and adult learning.
· Use of authoring/media tools to implement web based, digital, and/or multi-media learning methodologies (Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, Other online course platforms or learning management systems).
· Ability to source, research and utilize data to create courses and learning activities.
· Familiar with applicable assessment methods and procedures.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with technical writing and English language skills
· Clear, concise communicator with ability to communicate to large groups of diverse people
Preferred
· Master's degree in relevant field
