Registered Nurse – TWC Labor & Delivery Recovery Room (Full-Time)
Location: Abilene, TX
Shift: Night Shift (Varied)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Labor & Delivery Recovery Room team in Abilene, TX. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, individualized nursing care to women and newborns during the post-delivery recovery phase.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure the achievement of optimal patient outcomes.
- Apply scientific nursing principles in the delivery of care and maintain high standards in maternal and child health.
- Adhere to the Texas Nurse Practice Act and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Uphold professional conduct and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, AD, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing).
- Licensure:
- Registered Nurse license.
- CPR-BLS certification required before patient contact.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required within 6 months of hire.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Experience: No previous experience required; we welcome new graduates and offer training.
- Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Professional appearance and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
