Sample schedule: Mon 8 am - 5 pm, Tues 8 am - 6 pm, Wed 8 am - 5 pm, Thurs 8 am - 5 pm, and Sat 8 am - 1 pm
Experience and Skills Needed:
- Must maintain a genuinely positive/upbeat attitude throughout the day
- Passion for what you do and the drive to improve
- Superior attention to detail with the willingness to learn and accept guidance/feedback, as needed
- Computer skills (Dentrix, Microsoft office, e-mail, etc.) and the ability to learn new technology quickly
- Demonstrate respect and consideration for all members of the team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and also can provide straightforward, empathetic customer service through e-mail and text.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of one year of experience in a dental office
- Excellent organizational skills to effectively handle multiple tasks
- Knowledge of insurance plans (PPO) is a plus
What your responsibilities will be:
- Scheduling and confirming patient appointments using dental software
- Contacting patients via phone, text message, and e-mail
- Answering insurance questions, explaining benefit information, and financial obligations to all patients
- Present treatment plans to patients
- Collecting payment for services from patients
- Sending insurance claims
- Requesting and tracking pre-authorizations from insurance companies
- Providing general office support with a variety of administrative activities and related tasks
- Other duties as needed to enhance our patient’s experience
- Must be available to work Saturdays 8 am-1 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
