RIG Consulting, Inc. (RIG) is seeking a CAD Technician to support our client located in Pittsburgh, PA (Northshore) area.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Daily processing of survey data, including evaluating accuracy and sufficiency and ensuring compliance to applicable regulation and professional and industry standards related to boundary calculations, legal descriptions, etc.
- Performs deeds research, deed plotting and map checks.
- Prepare survey plats and drawings, legal descriptions, and alignments drawings.
- Provide technical office support.
- Perform quality control checks of plats and drawings.
- Ensure schedules and productivity objectives set up by supervisor for preparation of survey plats and drawings are achieved.
Preferred Experience, Skills, & Knowledge:
- Minimum of one (1) year related survey experience
- Excellent computer and technical skills, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
- PennDOT experience a plus.
- Strong listening, writing and verbal skills.
- Proven work history, strong work ethic and team-player attitude.
- Valid Driver’s License
