RIGGS CAT is Hiring an Used Equipment Manager Near Little Rock, AR

Description

The Used Equipment Manager provides support to internal and external personnel in the Used Equipment Department to execute goals and maximize profitability. This position is responsible for pricing, market research, and salesman support in the field.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Assign trade values to used machines offered on trade
  • Main point of contact for Used Equipment in the Cat Dealer Network ensuring Riggs has strong relationships with other UEMs and dealers
  • Manages the FLIP process on machines and educating and training Riggs personnel on the process
  • Monitor after sale repairs – including payments to and from other dealers
  • Manage used current no charge agreements and the process
  • Manage all Aged inventory and keep current inventory priced according to market trends
  • Manage the FLIP inventory and process from start to finish
  • Manage and monitor all current Used programs available and distribute to the team
  • Manage EOR’s Cat Finance lease returns and pricing
  • Manage all non-new equipment through all phases of inventory processes
  • Manage inventory processes on machines and educating and training Riggs personnel on the current process/procedures

Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 5 years of used heavy equipment experience including trades, sales, flips, etc.
  • Business awareness and numerical ability.
  • Sales and Financing knowledge
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment industry is a must
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and other database systems
  • Fluent in using a CRM system as well as finance management system
  • Experience using DBS, Saleslink, or Salesforce is a plus
  • Effective relationship building experience while utilizing current contacts in the UE space

This employee must be able to exert 10 lbs of force frequently and 50 lbs of force on occasion. This position requires kneeling, standing, squatting, and grasping frequently.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

This position can be stressful in times of high boom in the industry. Ability to stay calm, prioritize, and delegate time responsibility is a must.

Required travel up to 25% including salesman ride-alongs, auction attendance, and branch visits

This position is considered a safety sensitive position.
