Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electronic Banking Specialist I to provide technical support for our retail banking applications and services. The ideal candidate will support branch operations, internal departments, and assist customers with electronic banking inquiries. This role ensures smooth operations by maintaining various systems, processing wire transfers, handling account maintenance, and supporting compliance with regulatory standards.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in banking, with a focus on branch operations and electronic banking products/services.
- Strong understanding of retail banking applications and support.
- Experience in customer service, technical troubleshooting, and compliance.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics.
- Strong interpersonal relations and communication skills.
- Organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in PC skills, including Microsoft Word, and the ability to learn job-specific software.
- Visual and auditory acuity for handling various technical tasks.
Required Education:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent), preferably with a focus in Business or Accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the help desk and technical support for retail banking applications.
- Support retail staff and internal departments; participate in new employee training.
- Conduct daily operational reviews of reports to ensure branch oversight.
- Provide customer service for Internet Banking inquiries.
- Assist with wire transfers, including confirmation and sending.
- Review and approve enrollments for Commercial Electronic Banking (CEB) and Business Electronic Banking (BEB).
- Process applications for Wire Transfers, Bill Pay, and Automated Clearing House (ACH).
- Perform customer account maintenance to ensure accuracy.
- Handle Teller Insight system database administration and Merchant Capture setup.
- Provide support for Debit Cards, including application reviews, increase requests, and dispute resolution.
- Assist with audits, regulatory exams, and gathering necessary documentation.
- Maintain compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate tasks with other personnel to ensure efficient information flow within the department.
