Ripley’s Assistant Attractions Manager
The Assistant Attractions Manager supports the Attractions Manager in managing daily operations, staff management, and elevating guest experiences at Ripley’s Myrtle Beach. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, maintaining safety standards, and delivering exceptional service to both team members and guests, all contributing to the overall success of the attractions.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment, assisting with product shipments as needed.
- Perform all POS tasks, including front and back-of-house functions, opening/closing procedures, & EFT sales.
- Foster effective and positive communication among team members and managers.
- Assist managers with scheduling and maintaining proper staff coverage to uphold customer service standards and compliance with company policies.
- Enforce cash handling procedures set forth by Ripley’s.
- Support managers in planning and executing sales promotions efficiently.
- Provide guidance to team members and supervisors, setting a positive example and ensuring adherence to SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and merchandising/cleanliness standards.
- Promote and practice workplace safety, reporting hazards, inconsistencies, or incidents to managers.
- Process orders and invoices to maintain appropriate stock levels and supplies.
- Manage inventory by tracking, counting, and completing end-of-month (EOM), end-of-year (EOY), and weekly paperwork.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure attractions are safe, clean, and well-maintained, including hands-on repairs and troubleshooting as needed.
- Provide support and address questions or concerns from supervisors and team members.
Job Requirements
- Must have flexible schedule, and available nights and weekends (including holidays)
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours & lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prior Supervisor and POS experience preferred
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have valid Drivers License
