Job Description:
Supervisors lead the field crews in safety, efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance from start to finish. We’re looking for talented leaders to take charge of projects and work with clients, environmental consultants and project managers to consistently deliver results.
Supervisors are responsible for ensuring projects stay on track and communicate with project managers daily to assess risks and troubleshoot potential issues. Every job is different and we’re looking for a motivated problem solver to work across the project team to find success.
Responsibilities:
- Guide crews in safe abatement, remediation, and demolition practices in regulated work environments
- Proactively run the jobsite every day, ensuring the workday starts on-time and within the budgeted hours
- Conduct a daily inventory of materials to ensure that all required materials are on site, and order additional materials as needed
- Effectively communicate with field workers, operations managers, surveyors, estimators, and clients to ensure timely completion of projects
- Set performance goals and deadlines with crew members
- Conduct field safety meetings and communicate project expectations to crew members
- Maintain required industry training and certifications
- Ensuring state and federal asbestos regulations are followed and completing required regulatory tasks and field reports
- Drive company vehicles and trailers to jobsites safely
- Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly
Qualifications:
- 2 years of asbestos abatement experience
- 4 years of construction industry experience with a general contractor and/or subcontractors
- Current AHERA and CDPHE Regulation 8 asbestos supervisor certification
- Strong knowledge of relevant CDPHE, EPA, and OSHA regulations and guidelines
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds and perform work activities for 8 – 12 hours daily
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass background screenings
- Ability to travel as needed
- Experience using job planning software (e.g., FieldFlo)
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is a REAL plus
