Fine Dining Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Fine Dining Server to join our team with 10 server experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a high-end dining environment. As a Fine Dining Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests through attentive service, detailed knowledge of the menu, and an understanding of fine dining etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Present menus and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage offerings.
• Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or similar systems, ensuring all special requests are noted.
• Serve food and beverages in accordance with fine dining standards, ensuring timely delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and glassware.
• Process payments accurately using cash register or POS systems while ensuring proper handling of cash and credit transactions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
• Demonstrate knowledge of food handling practices to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server in a fine dining restaurant is preferred.
• Familiarity with Toast, OpenTable, or similar reservation systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation practices is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
• A team player who is adaptable to changing situations and able to work collaboratively with others.
• Ability of table side service

Pay: $15.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
