Gulf Coast Trades Center (GCTC) is a private, non-profit educational institution dedicated to improving the economic independence and social well-being of disadvantaged and adjudicated youth. GCTC provides male youth ages 15-18 with a comprehensive program of education, counseling, job referrals, residential and community services. This matrix of services is provided by our dedicated staff in a “no fail” atmosphere, which emphasized the worth of each individual.

What you will do:
The VOCA Director is primarily responsible for the delivery of the treatment milieu consisting of Case Management, Behavior Health, Medical, Admissions, Transitions, and Career, Religious, and Volunteer Services. The Director is responsible for administration; policy and program development; staff management; revenue and expense budgets and operations; and for working with students, staff, faculty and colleagues in developing goals, objectives and strategies, setting standards of operations and performance, and establishing short term and long term plans. The VOCA Director is a senior management position that reports to the Program Director and serves as a member of the Site Management Team.

- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a desire to work with troubled teens.
- Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
