Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and manage maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance personnel, ensuring all machines, tools, and equipment are properly maintained, repaired, and installed in a timely and efficient manner. The role also requires ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team, ensuring the efficient execution of preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate emergency and break-in repairs, ensuring timely response and resolution.
- Manage the scheduling, documentation, and performance of all maintenance work.
- Oversee the maintenance of mobile equipment such as forklifts, man-lifts, and light-duty maintenance vehicles.
- Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure machinery and equipment are functioning correctly.
- Promote a culture of safety by ensuring all safety standards are followed and conducting safety audits.
- Provide training and development to maintenance team members, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Manage inventory control and parts management in accordance with company procedures.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts, focusing on increasing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting equipment such as fans, conveyors, and pneumatic systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with electrical distribution (480V systems).
- Experience with CMMS systems and maintaining work orders, inventory, and reports.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance, including MSHA and OSHA.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, including blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
