River Oaks Country Club is seeking a passionate and dedicated Culinary professionals to join our ROCC Culinary Team where you will get to experience food production & culinary innovation. Our Culinary Team takes on the production throughout 7 kitchens and 5 restaurant concepts. Our latest renovation has provided our employees with brand new facilities including cafeteria, lounge, employee gym and locker rooms! This position will report to Executive Sous Chef. We are looking for individuals with passion for excellence, articulate, confident and an eye for detail.

- Assures all menu items are prepared and are fresh prior to service.
- Serves items in accordance with established portions and presentation standards.
- Sets up service units with needed items; Sets up, maintains and breaks down workstation.
- Requisitions items needed to produce menu items; Notifies Sous Chef of expected shortages.
- Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations; Ensures work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary.
- Assists the Sous Chef in maintaining security and safety in the kitchen.
- Follows Club’s appearance standards of a neat professional appearance and observes personal cleanliness rules.
- Covers, dates and properly stocks all food production/stores leftover products that are re-usable.
- Adheres to Club’s menu recipes & procedures with all food production; follows up with direct supervisor before making any changes to Club's recipe's and/or Club procedures.
- At least 3 or more year’s on the job culinary experience in fine dining restaurant, hotel or country club.
- Working knowledge of Kitchen Stations (Fry Station, Broiler Station, Sautee Station, Grill Station & Pantry).
- Valid Texas Food Handlers Certificate.
- Able to work a flexible full-time schedule (including weekends & holidays).
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Must have the ability to multi-task efficiently while remaining focused on the goal to execute multiple events, at a time.
- Experience running a shift without direct supervision.
- Able to move and lift up to 25 lbs without assistance.
- Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time.
- Professional appearance in a clean uniform.
- Enjoys working hard; Quick learner who is open to change.
- Seeks new and challenging tasks to master; Readily comes up with new and unique ideas.
