AgriData Solutions Coordinator

Description

The coordinator will play a critical role in driving our organization’s environmental performance and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This position is responsible for overseeing sustainability programs that align with our strategic objectives, managing reporting initiatives, and developing metrics to track progress. The coordinator will cultivate strong internal and external relationships to promote sustainability best practices across all levels of the organization. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will lead initiatives that reduce our environmental footprint, enhance resource efficiency, and foster a culture of sustainability.

What You'll Do:

• Sustainability Strategy: Execute sustainability strategies in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Metrics Tracking: Track and report on sustainability metrics monthly to ensure progress against goals.
• Data Management: Oversee sustainability data management across all business units to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Training and Education: Provide training to farmers and staff on sustainable practices and carbon reduction techniques. (farm visits, weekly calls)
• Reporting: Prepare reports on carbon intensity metrics and sustainability initiatives.
• Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Administration Team to coordinate and enhance sustainability efforts.
• Communication Campaigns: Develop and promote sustainability communication campaigns and stay informed on industry trends to educate internal stakeholders.
• Special Projects: Work with Management to coordinate special projects related to sustainability.
• Reviews & Meetings: Provide regular updates and reviews of sustainability metrics to senior leadership and represent the company in industry meetings.
• External Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and industry organizations to support sustainability goals.

• Data Analysis Proficiency: Proficient in using data analysis tools and software to interpret sustainability metrics, generate reports, and inform decision-making processes.
• Knowledge of Agricultural Practices: Possesses a strong understanding of agricultural practices and their environmental impacts, enabling the development of sustainable strategies within the sector.
• Engagement and Education Skills: Capable of effectively engaging and educating team members and customers about sustainability practices, promoting a culture of environmental stewardship throughout the organization.

What You'll bring:

• Some college with a focus in environmental science, Sustainability, Agriculture, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in data analysis and proficiency with relevant software tools (Excel, GIS, environmental reporting platforms).
• Valid Driver’s License.

Working conditions:

May be exposed to dust, noise, heat, cold, ag chemicals, and vapors, and moving machinery. May be required to work long hours, as well as work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
