BASE PAY STARTING AT $22.00 PER HOUR. RiverMead is currently accepting applications for a full time MEDICATION NURSING ASSISTANT. This position would be for our 2nd shift 3 : 00PM-11 : 00PM.

LNA SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS :
2ND SHIFT = $2.00 PER HOUR
3RD SHIFT = $2.50 PER HOUR
WEEKENDS = $1.50 PER HOUR (FRIDAY 5PM-SUNDAY MIDNIGHT)
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :
- Provides personal care services.
- Assists in the administering of medications to stable patients, as ordered by the licensed practitioner, under the direction of the licensed practitioner / licensed nurse in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as all established nursing policies and procedures. This does not include the administration of Coumadin.
- Administers PRN medications after resident is evaluated by licensed nurse and nurse has approved administration of the PRN medication.
- Follows RiverMead procedures allowing residents to self-administer medications. Assists licensed nurse in monitoring and documenting all aspects of such self-administration. Promptly notifies licensed nurse of any failure of a resident to take any self-administered medication properly.
- Performs administrative requirements, such as completing forms, reports, charts, etc., and submits these in a timely manner.
- Participates in development and implementation of resident care plans in collaboration with nurse, other departments, resident and resident's family. Consults with RN / LPN on nursing problems and interpretation of problems to ensure resident needs are met.
- Recognizes emergency situations and implements appropriate emergency procedures when indicated.
