Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for the overall operation and administration of Operations and Gaming.
• Adhere to, interpret, support, and explain established company policies and procedures as well as applicable local, state, federal and other regulatory procedures.
• Responsible for ensuring departments have accurate policies and procedures and that they are implemented properly.
• Responsible for assisting the respective departments with budgets and monthly budget reviews
• Advises and keeps the General Manager informed of all relevant operational issues affecting the property.
• Responsible for assisting with the ongoing maintenance and expansion of the gaming customer base and the development of new revenue strategies.
• Responsible for rolling out new company initiatives.
• Responsible for effective communication across all levels of the property.
• Responsible for ensuring the internal controls are followed and revised accordingly
• Responsible for assisting the General Manager in developing, leading and managing a high-performance Team.
• Responsible for regular reviews and evaluations of departmental performance, working with department heads to take appropriate steps necessary to resolve any issues
• Hires, trains and manages staff in accordance with organizational and approved departmental policies and programs.
• Address Team Member questions and concerns; conduct internal investigations as needed.
• Ensures departmental Managers/Supervisors continually and consistently reinforce safety and accident prevention measures.
• Promoting a positive image of the facility through public presentations, community events, internal and external business meetings, etc.
• Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential and proprietary information disclosed by a Casino entity or by a guest of the Casino.
• Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image of self and subordinates.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 8 Years of progressive experience in the casino industry
• 4 year degree required, Masters preferred
• Experience in strategic planning and execution
• Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management
• Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels of government and to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
• Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects
• Ability to demonstrate superior guest service
• Ability to communicate effectively with Team members and guests
• Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
• Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
• Knowledgeable of applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
