Position Summary
The Assembler position in our fabrication shop requires a detail-oriented and skilled individual to assemble metal parts and components according to specifications. This role involves ensuring high-quality standards and precision in every assembly task.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble metal parts and components according to blueprints and technical drawings.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete assembly tasks.
- Perform quality checks to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to process improvements.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in assembly, preferably in a fabrication shop.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and technical principles.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
