Responsible for creating a safe, fun environment for guests by proactively reaching
Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities: Essential functions may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills, and other characteristics. This list of tasks is ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY, and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by this position.
- Must enthusiastically represent Oklahoma River Adventures by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy, and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.
- Develop and implement a structured practice schedule for weekly practices in VALORANT.
- Able to follow daily opening, operational and closing procedures in order to operate the activities as instructed, enforce safety rules and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in all work areas.
- Provide information to guest about facilities, programs, entertainment options, and rules and regulations.
- Able to greet and handle guests in a friendly, but firm manner to provide for a good guest experience and enforce rules.
- Monitor the arena and users
- Clean activity area daily or more often to insure a safe and fun environment.
- Able to handle minor complaints and suggestions from guests in a calm and professional manner or seek additional assistance from supervisor if necessary.
- Group supervision of campers as assigned with attention to all of the following: health, happiness, discipline, cleanliness, safety, routine duties, and character and skill development.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- CPR, AED, First Aid certified (will provide training if necessary)
- Demonstrate ability to provide a high standard of professionalism and strong customer service skills
- Achieve and maintain a rank in VALORANT
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a busy environment
- Knowledge of video games and systems is strongly preferred
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Desire and ability to work with children
