Job Summary:
RK Chevrolet is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service Consultant. As a Service Consultant, you will act as the liaison between our dealership and customers who require maintenance or repairs on their Chevrolet vehicles. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, scheduling appointments, and consulting with customers to determine their vehicle needs. This is a full-time, individual contributor role that offers a competitive base salary plus commission in the auto industry. The position is located in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position ranges from $50,000 to $100,000 per year, with weekly pay. In addition to this competitive salary, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and employee discounts on vehicles and services.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Consult with customers to determine their vehicle needs and provide recommendations for necessary repairs and maintenance
- Schedule appointments and manage service appointments efficiently
- Communicate with customers throughout the service process, providing updates and addressing any concerns
- Utilize dealership software and tools to accurately document customer information, service details, and vehicle history
- Work closely with our service technicians and parts department to ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs
- Handle any customer complaints or issues and escalate as needed
- Keep up-to-date with Chevrolet products and new technologies to provide accurate and relevant information to customers
- Meet or exceed set performance goals and metrics, including customer satisfaction and service sales targets
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
- Previous experience in the automotive industry, specifically in a customer service or sales role, preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle difficult or frustrated customers with patience and empathy
- Knowledge of basic automotive maintenance and repairs
- Proficient computer and technology skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
