Robert Half is recruiting a Benefits Administrator for our client. The benefits administrator will direct and plan the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs. Common operations in this benefits administrator role will involve researching alternative benefits programs, implementing enhancements to current programs, and overseeing all general tasks associated with benefits administration. Major responsibilities
- Analyze employee benefits plans and vendors
- Manage daily benefits processing
- Ensure employees are aware of their benefit options
- Craft benefit appropriate programs such as insurance, wellness etc.
- Manage enrollments and determine employee eligibility
- Manage leaves of absence and process claims or requests (medical operations, worker's compensation etc.)
- Manage transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration
- Take steps to ensure that organization complies with applicable government regulations
- Evaluate and negotiate with all our service providers
- Design administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes
- Maintain detail oriented communication with accounting department and work closely with them regularly
RequirementsStrong computer skills

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
