The chosen candidate will be based in Santa Monica, California, and will play a crucial role in overseeing our company's financial operations and leading our accounting department.Responsibilities• Oversee all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.• Assist with the creation and implementation of internal control policies and procedures.• Conduct regular audits to ensure financial compliance.• Use accounting software systems, Sage 100, QuickBooks• Prepare month-end reports to provide a clear picture of the company's financial status.• Manage agency commissions to ensure fair and accurate distribution.• Supervise payroll operations to ensure all employees are compensated accurately and on time.• Use financial services tools like ADP to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.• Participate in the budget process to help the company plan for future expenses.• Prepare financial statements to provide a comprehensive overview of the company's financial position.
