Responsibilities:Client Support:Conduct intake interviews, consult with attorneys, and provide referrals for potential clients.Build and maintain relationships with clients and their families, assisting with record requests and preparation for legal proceedings.Manage case files, calendar deadlines, and support clients post-release from prison or immigration detention.Schedule appointments, coordinate interpreters, and facilitate communication with clients.Administrative Support:Organize and maintain documents, manage Clio data, and update client information in databases.Schedule meetings, handle correspondence, process invoices, and coordinate travel arrangements.Assist with administrative tasks related to legal clinics and document management.Set up Docusign for client and counsel signatures, and perform Bates stamping.Legal Support:Assist in preparing court filings, organizing internal court records, and drafting legal documents.Collect and organize evidence, draft client declarations, and attend court proceedings to support attorneys.File and serve documents in various courts, ensuring compliance with relevant court rules.Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and intake coordinators to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
