Systems Engineer II.

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Systems Engineer II in Seattle, Washington. This role is primarily focused on the development and support of network fabric and systems through a deep level understanding of networking at the protocol level, coupled with programming skills to support the intensive automation required to operate a production environment. Responsibilities: • Assisting in the design, deployment, and operations of a large-scale global cloud computing environment.• Participating in network lifecycle management through network build and/or upgrade projects.• Collaborating with program/project managers to develop milestones and deliverables.• Developing and safely executing network changes using existing procedures and tools.• Serving as a technical lead for team projects and contributing to the development of roadmap issues.• Leading the development of new runbooks and methods of procedures, mentoring entry level engineers.• Participating in network solution and architecture design processes.• Providing break-fix support for events and serving as an escalation point for event remediation.• Leading post-event root cause analysis, coordinating with networking automation services for the development and integration of support tooling.• Frequently developing scripts to automate routine tasks for the team and business unit.• Collaborating with network vendor technical account team and internal Quality Assurance team to drive bug resolution and assist in the qualification of new firmware and/or operating systems.

Salary : $60 - $64
