Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage virtualization infrastructure using VMware technologies, including vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi hosts
• Implement and maintain Azure cloud solutions, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and hybrid cloud connectivity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement scalable and secure systems solutions
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources to ensure high availability and performance
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for critical systems and data
• Evaluate new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance system efficiency, security, and scalability
• Participate in capacity planning, resource forecasting, and infrastructure expansion initiatives
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams, resolving complex system-related issues
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, sharing knowledge and contributing to continuous improvement efforts

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus
• 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, with expertise in VMware and Azure technologies
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, such as VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure Active Directory
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Experience with scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Bash, for automation and infrastructure management
• Knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide innovative solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
